Tired and tried are literally made up of all the same parts and they usually go hand in hand unless you half ass what you’re doing.

Important life lesson — if no one is giving you free shots, you’re going to have to pay. whether that be shots as in opportunities or shots at the bar.

Everyone loves content that talks about failure and learning from failure, but I think a small fraction of us really buy into that bullshit and fall flat on our faces and dig ourselves in holes.

Very few of us go out their and grab the opportunity to work with people doing big things and get disappointed by the outcome. Very few of us start a project, fail miserably and go straight back to the drawing board.

I’m not saying I’m great or an entrepreneur or I have “hustle” (whatever that means to Silicone Valley in 2017). I’m saying I’m tired.

The hardest thing you can do is exist and exist to your fullest, to really let life kick you in the jaw. We’re conditioned to separate ourselves from life’s most negative feelings, to belittle them because they’re less desirable. Fatigue, disappointment, failure, grieving. I think we should embrace all of these because they’re what you learn the most from. I think we should listen to our hearts and know when to take a breather.
