Thanks! I actually want to write an article about dynamically typed vs statically typed languages. The teaching language at my school is Python (which I’ve fallen in love with) so I’ve spent the last few months programming in Python/SQLite for school and JS for my own personal projects. I’ve neglected Java as of late, but it’s my first language and it’s provided a great foundation for me.

The only reason that I got so much traction with Java (and basic programming concepts in general) was practice, I tinkered with Java for at least an hour everyday in the summer and ended up giving myself so many ‘assignments’, that I did more programming than a first year CS course.

I wholeheartedly believe we should all become more computer literate, I’ve fallen in love with programming so much that being a developer might be my new dream job.

-Kyle :)
