YES YES YES this article is so relevant and important in the conversation about diversity, we’re seeing an influx of people from the working-class/lower socioeconomic statuses coming into higher paid positions in emerging industries and we just don’t know how to operate or we’re uncomfortable because our whole lives this was the proverbial other side of the tracks and now we’re here. Well, I’m not quite there yet, but I go to one of those “good schools” and every day I’m exposed to this culture of middle-class-ness that’s just foreign to me.
